Dialight was founded in 1938, crafting panel lights for aircraft during World War II, hence the name ‘Dialight.’ They were among the earliest advocates of LED technology, rolling out our first LED product just a year after its debut. Notably, Dialight holds the distinction of being the first company worldwide to introduce an industrial LED fixture.
They offer the industry’s highest lumen-per-watt luminaire and a lifespan nearly three times longer than that of their competitors. Dialight is the only manufacturer who design and build their own power supplies in-house. Because of this technology, they can confidently offer 10-year warranties on nearly all of their products. Dialight uses proprietary power supply technology that has a “smart” function which allows for automatic “thermal roll-off” as temperatures increase. This self-sensing feature ensures that Dialight fixtures remain functional when temperatures spike – competitive luminaires may simply cease operating or fail completely when maximum ambient operating temps are reached.
These fixtures went through a facility fire and a tornado. The polycarbonate lens melted, and the housing was bent, but the lights are still functioning. So impressive!
